Facelift!

UOFC is getting a facelift! Work has commenced on converting the website from html to Org. This will be the last post in the old format. Stay tuned to see the fruits of my labor! I am hoping to have things completed by the end of next week.

Org Mode!

I have taken it upon myself to convert all of my important configs, and projects to Org documents. I'm really enjoying the idea behind "Literate Programming". I think it's a very logical, and fun way to write programs. Eventually I will be converting my website to Org as well. Stay tuned!

Playing around with Doom Emacs

Wow! Doom Emacs is pretty great! I had been using Neovim for all of my text editing for quite some time, but I never really got around to doing any serious configuration with it. All of the extended functionality that I had planned to add to Neovim is enabled by default in Doom Emacs. I can see why folks enjoy this application. I'm very excited to start playing around in Org mode. I feel like I am starting to unlock some new, and powerful text editing abilities! Stay tuned, and please subscribe to my RSS feed for more updates. Thank you!

Added Library

Today I built a page to show off my personal library, and publish some short book reviews. Check it out sometime. The links have been added to the navigation header at the top of every page.

Long time, no see!

Finally making a blog post after being absent for several months. I have been very busy with work, there hasn't been much time to spend on my computer and work on projects. When I do have free time I have been putting it towards other pursuits. Not long ago, I have taken to studying Lingua Latina, and The Bible, as well as reading other interesting books from ancient authors. I am considering adding new pages to the website for my personal library, along with short summaries and reviews of books that I have completed. It's time to take the red pill, and the Christ pill, to put away the fedora and go touch grass.

All GIT all the time!

Hey, this Git thing is pretty great! Thanks Linus Torvalds! I'm finding that it is very powerful for many tasks, not just version control. Now that I'm keeping a couple of private repositories on the cloud, I've found it appropriate to add links to my GitHub, and GitLab pages. Don't really have any code worth sharing to the general public yet, but I'm hoping to have something worth publishing by the end of the year.

Now managed through GIT!

Recently learned to manage repositories through GIT

I have been doing a piss poor job of keeping track of my files previously

Pretty confident that production will continue at a faster rate now.

Finally finished working on my PeerTube instance today.
