Introduction.
First of all. I would like to thank you for visiting my website.
The main purpose of this page is to document my progress in the pursuit of a career in IT.
So far I have implimented several back end features onto the site which are all documented in the
blog section.
Minimalism.
The most important inspiration for creating this site is simply a need for minimalism due to my slow, and metered internet connection. I live in a very rural area with limited options for internet access. The modern web doesn't evolve in favor of people like myself. Downloading assets for large graphical programs is impraticle at best.
Videos
Another core project is to try my hand at running a PeerTube instance.
PeerTube is a 'Youtube-Like' self hosted peer to peer video streaming platform, that impliments technology which
essentially functions the same as torrents.
Users may stream, and download videos from a main server, as well as connect to other users (peers)
that are seeding (uploading data) on the network to decrease load on the main server, and increase stability.
My friends and I have been working very hard to produce content for
the page and are very eager to show it off.
